Pipeline

CAG primarily recruits from Army Special Forces and 75th Rangers, though enlistment is open to any personnel who have passed basic training and meet the basic time and deployment requirements, enlistees from all branches are accepted. Delta carries out recruitment briefings prior to selection courses. The selections course is thought to be carried out twice a year in Spring and Fall. The Assessments & Selections Course (ASC) is a program in which the recruits undergo intense physical training. It consists mostly of land navigation and rucking in which recruits will carry heavy rucksacks with them. Each day the weight of the rucksacks increases, testing candidate's determination and physical fitness. After ASC is completed, the candidates that have not been filtered out move on to the Operator Training Course. (OTC) The OTC is a 6 month pipeline training candidates in the wide array of skills utilized by CAG. The remaining candidates after OTC will be assigned to one of the active squadrons.

Organization/Jobs

CAG has 4 assault squadrons currently. (A, B, C, & D) Each squadron is divided into 3 troops, the names based on which squadron the troop resides in. (The first troop of A Squadron would be Troop 1A) The first 2 troops are assault troops, and the third is a recce troop. Each assault troop is divided into 6 man teams and each member assigned a role. (Team Leader, Assistant Team Leader, Breacher, Combat Life Saver, Assaulter)

*¹ It's debated whether they use 10.5 inch or 10.4 inch, however both are fine to use

Tactics

CAG is trained in a large variety of tactics, and there is not much information about their tactics publicly available. One thing I have to say is that if you are making a CAG milsim, they do use both deliberate and dynamic CQB tactics, and it's all situational. I don't know where the idea that CAG only does dynamic came from.
